Design Prompt: Create an analog or digital piece by combining two unrelated topics selected at random.
Deliverable: Created a mixed-media design concept combining the themes of crime and plants. Developed a series of ten poisonous plant informational cards, with each card uniquely customized to reflect the species’ attributes, characteristics, and visual identity.
For the Good of the Colony

Prompt: Extreme Scale
Deliverable: For the Good of the Colony is an interactive experimental publication about perception, parallels, and collective behavior. The incredibly small text encourages the reader to engage with the publication by using the magnified glass embedded in the packaging. While the work examines the complex social structures of a common insect, the word "ant" is intentionally never used. Instead, the text and imagery lead readers to believe the publication is about humankind, drawing attention to the striking similarities between the ways both species organize, cooperate, and navigate their worlds. By withholding a single identifying word, the publication challenges viewers to recognize recurring patterns in nature and consider how observing the natural world can reveal deeper insights into ourselves and the societies we create.
Give & Take

Inspiration: I have always been fascinate by how different species interact with one another. There are many different types of symbiotic relationships found in nature. However, not all partnerships benefit both organisms. I am fascinated by the ones which do. Give & Take is a short and interactive zine that explores the symbiotic relationship between honey bees and flowers. I aim to utilize this observation as a way to reevaluate our relationship with our own environment. How do we look beyond something as seemly normal to us as a bee on a flower? My work always begin with questions. Why cant we be more like bees and flowers? Why cant we give as much as we take?
Deliverable: Through illustrations and educational content, the publication highlights how each species depends on the other for survival and the essential role they play in maintaining healthy ecosystems.The zine unfolds into a full-size poster on the reverse side, transforming the publication into a display poster that reinforces its message beyond the reading experience
Liminality: Passing Places

Prompt: Liminality: is a state of transition, ambiguity, and being "betwixt and between" two different stages or places. The word comes from the Latin word limen, which means threshold.
Deliverable: Passing Places is an artist book designed to echo the form of a vinyl record, pairing a collection of my original songs with photographs of places from my past. Each image is converted to grayscale and then hand-colored with a soft pink colored pencil. Pink is gentle, warm, and compassionate—it represents my innocence, my youth, and the lens through which I remember these moments.
With time, I have come to appreciate the fleeting nature of the present and the importance of honoring each chapter of my life. The slow, deliberate process of hand-coloring every photograph becomes an act of reflection, serving as a physical manifestation of my present self revisiting the past with a new perspective and lens.
